Fortune 500
Fortune magazine published the 2008 results of their Fortune 500 investigation to assess the top 500 companies of Turkey.
Studies to prepare the list began in February. The findings of the studies revealed that net sales in energy, iron and steel, food and retail sectors showed an upward trend, contradicting the downward trend of profits in nearly all sectors. Generally speaking, profit margins dropped in the year 2008 effected by the global economic crisis. KORAY entered the list as the company whose exports increased the most.
