| The design purpose of this project was to create a solution that would make Sabancı University unique, that would be in accordance with the university's educational aims, that would be sensitive to the environment of the area, that would be able to respond to future needs, that would provide a pro-active infrastructure that could accord to changes and developments occurring over time and that would have a super-structure made up of modern buildings reflecting traditional Turkish architectural style and values. The campus spreads over 1.35 million sqm of land and has a total construction area of 133,460sqm. |
