| Although more than 35 years have passed since its construction, this 108m high building, which was designed by architects A. Boke and M. Y. Sargin, still preserves its unique character defined by the hyperbolic curves in its vertical lines and dominates Ankara's skyline. Besides its positive contribution to the corporate image of Is Bank, this 28,000sqm project also helped KORAY to gain its reputation for being "the" contractor of prestigious buildings. As can be seen from the texture of the entirely fair-faced concrete façade, the formwork of this project was meticulously crafted from solid wood battens produced in KORAY's woodwork manufacturing plant, which also furnished the fixed wooden furniture of the interior. |
